How Rent My Clinic works

Background Information

If you are a clinic that has rooms that are not being used at certain days or hours of the week, then why not rent them out to other healthcare professionals and make a passive income from them?

There is no fee for creating a profile or listing your clinic on our website.

The only fee that will be taken is 5% of the price of the rent only when a transaction occurs (i.e., someone books the room). This fee will be taken from the clinic owner.

All transactions on the platform occur via a secure portal. So, when registering, you will be expected to enter your card details in order to receive payments directly into your account once your room is booked.

As a clinic owner, you can approve or decline a request to rent out your room. We encourage you to message and communicate with users on the platform prior to accepting or declining their offer.

You, as a clinic, can set the price of the rent you see is fit. This is dependent on many factors, such as location, storage space, CQC registration, etc.

How to list your clinic

  1. After creating a profile with us click on the top right-hand option “list your clinic”.

  2. You can start by choosing whether you want to rent your clinic out on an hourly basis or a daily basis. a. If you have more than one room then we’d recommend creating a listing for each room and labeling them as “Room 1” “Room 2”, etc. b. If you would like to rent out the same room on an hourly basis on certain days and on a daily basis on other days, then we still recommend creating different listings and labeling them as “Room 1 hourly” “Room 1 daily”, etc.

  3. Go on to give details about your room – the more information you give the better, e.g. “we can offer you a key for any storage cabinets”, etc.

  4. Add the location (address) of your clinic.

  5. Add the pricing that you would like to rent the clinic out for.

  6. Add room availability by clicking on “set default schedule” then choosing the days and/or hours the room is available to rent out.

  7. Add photos – we recommend adding clear photos with good lighting and from as many angles as possible.

  8. Then click on “publish listing”, which will take you to a page that allows you to add your bank sort code and account number. This is an important step to complete the listing, as it allows any payments to go directly into your account.

  9. Wait for your listing approval by the Rent My Clinic team – it normally takes no longer than 48-72 hours.

  10. Now you’re all set up and ready to rent out your clinic space!
